New Athlete

New Athlete New Athlete Physical Therapy is dedicated to the restoration of total human health and performance t Our secret is simple.

The cornerstone of New Athlete is our ability to help the incomplete athlete and make them whole. Our approach is to not only restore, but more often than not, have our athletes come out more fit, better balanced, and better prepared for competition than prior to their struggles with pain and lack of performance. We do not focus on the end of the issue rather we attack the route cause of the movement issues.

I started working on a five-year case study of the athletes that we assess and have assessed when they begin training at New Athlete. Out of the 1200 athletes that we have assessed since 2020, roughly 78% of those athletes were found to be either in pain or Injured at the time of the assessment. This is in its infancy, but just the rough numbers alone are pretty staggering to say the least. As I continue to assess the data and categorize these athletes and put them into buckets, and we were find this, I think we can really make some headway, on helping strength and conditioning programs that are missing, not just an element of figuring out why athletes are getting injured, but maybe having a better for exercise selection, and rate of return on programming. Stay tuned as we continue to refine this

Pretty happy with .chennn and his ACL progression. Still a long road ahead but at 12 weeks we are seeing some really nice consistency. Pushing the envelope a tad but doing our best to listen to his body and slowly build capacity and repeatability. Kyle is our 127th ACL we have worked with to return to play.

It’s easy to program a work out for anyone and to do that blindly but they really get the most out of not just your programming but the athlete in general do you have to do or should do these four things. 1. Establish the objective, and the reason why the athlete is training in the first place. 2. Assess movement patterns and determine where movement deficiencies are occurring. 3. Test Gaither data and profile the athlete to determine deficiencies and movement has a pertains the data. Are they forced efficient? Are they formed efficient? Are they neurologically deficient. 4. Analyze the data and based on the patterning or stories, the data telling you will allow you to program and get the most efficient results. . -season. . .
