Jimi Evans Counseling Existential-Humanistic Psychotherapy. Choosing to begin therapy can feel overwhelming and anxiety provoking.

In spite of such anxiety, I believe that therapy can be a powerful way to explore and process our experiences in a way that allows us to live a more fulfilled, content and desirable life. Whether you're an individual feeling restless or unfulfilled in your life, someone who is struggling to make meaning out of difficult life experiences, or a couple looking to grow your intimacy and deepen your relationship, I believe I can help. I approach the therapeutic relationship from an Existential-Humanistic perspective. For me this means working in collaboration with individuals to create a relationship that facilitates an exploration of self and meaning. Some of the questions that often arise as a result are related to exploring how we understand ourselves, others, and our place in this world (relationships.) This type of exploration is a journey that often requires incredible courage and involves a profound sense of vulnerability, which I deeply honor and appreciate. I believe that amazing shifts can take place within the therapeutic process. My hope is to provide you the care and compassion so often needed to find a more authentic and intentional way of being.
