It’s with a heavy heart that the Fircrest Family says goodbye to our dear little furry friend, Ducky.

Ducky was a hamster that loved to play, interact, explore, and comfort clients, young and old. He lived a long and happy life in the ever loving care of our own child therapist, Kristina Hargie, along with countless kiddos and families who have been blessed to receive his gentle snuggles while processing life’s greatest challenges. We will have a special little wall set up starting tomorrow, where we invite family and friends to friends to write notes and draw pictures to honor our little therapeutic companion.

We will miss you, little Ducky! Thank you for loving so many, so well.

We are excited to welcome Jennifer Vulgan back to Fircrest!

Jennifer specializes in working with individuals and couples who feel disconnected in their relationships, misunderstood, or stuck in their emotions. Trained in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT), she has a passion for helping couples strengthen their connection and feel seen by their partner. Jennifer values authenticity, warmth, and humor as she works with clients. In addition to traditional talk therapy, Jennifer also incorporates somatic techniques like grounding and deep breathing to engage the body with the mind and emotions, fostering a wholistic and integrated self.

We invite teens, ages 12-14, to join us in a therapeutic space for time to connect and build relationships through facilitated art and craft time together. This group is facilitated by our amazing pre-liscenced therapists, Monica Conway and Makena Andersen.
