She focuses on educating individuals, helping them understand their conditions and treatment options, and empowering them to make informed decisions. She finds it rewarding to simplify confusing information, match patients with medications that work well, and enable people to safely reduce or discontinue pharmaceuticals that no longer serve them.

Taylor maintains a special interest in diabetes management and medication optimization. Her goal is to ensure patients are on safe, effective treatments while minimizing their pill burden.

Dr. Sikorsky finds it rewarding to care for women of all ages. She maintains a special interest in prenatal and postpartum mental health disorders. She believes that too many new mothers struggle with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder when they don’t have to. She enjoys helping people find effective options for these highly treatable conditions.

She takes the time to understand individuals’ unique concerns and needs. This approach allows her to effectively partner with patients to treat acute and chronic cardiac issues.

Dr. Guo has a special interest in cardio-obstetrics and women’s cardiovascular health and enjoys partnering with maternal fetal medicine clinicians to care for pregnant patients. She designed a 12-month curriculum for her final year of cardiology training to obtain this expertise, as there are currently no formalized accredited training programs in this subspecialty in the US.

Please join us in welcoming Michael Mullarkey, MD, to our Gastroenterology team. Dr. Mullarkey entered medicine to help others and alleviate suffering. He works hard to stay up to date on the latest medical literature and focuses on offering evidence-based care. He believes that communication is key and takes the time to help each patient understand their condition, the purpose of any tests or labs, their treatment plan, and even backup options.

Dr. Mullarkey finds it rewarding to understand the bodily changes that cause GI-related illnesses and to use that information to target key disease pathways, improving patients’ symptoms. He maintains a special interest in treating disorders of the esophagus, including eosinophilic esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and achalasia.

Maria has expertise in lower extremity orthopedic issues and expanding expertise in pelvic health issues. She creates a safe, comfortable environment for patients experiencing these conditions to receive treatment and finds it incredibly rewarding to help improve their quality of life. She has a special interest in peripartum care and is fascinated by the expanding field of research on athletic peripartum care.
