Blessed Halos

Blessed Halos Hi! My name's Rebekah, and I am a hairstylist and esthetician who decided to take the spa mentality into the existential realm of healing and crystals.

Cranial Facial Massage and Gem and Crystal Energy work, Aura/Chakra cleansing, Intuitive Past Life Readings and Tarot readings, Sacred Ritual facilitator, weddings and handfastings. I Continued my education in business and cultural anthropology with a specialty in magic, witchcraft, and world religions. I do readings (particularly Past Life readings, but Intuitive, palmistry, and tarot or oracle cards as well,) virtually, or in person. I also provide a relatively new modality of massage called Cranial Facial. I start by using facial massage to relax the muscles of the head, neck and face and then apply crystals to various areas of the body in order to move energy through the system releasing blockages, whether emotional, spiritual or physical, through the 3rd eye and crown chakras located at the crown of the head and on the forehead. This helps balance and cleanse the auras and chakras, bringing to light issues that might let me know how to advise you health wise and emotionally. This cleansing can bring healing and release a lot of pain and health issues one might be otherwise unaware of. I also provide readings for those needing to communicate with loved ones, or just to get information amount about your past life experiences and hopefully help you move past them...sometimes we carry those negativities with us into the current time, and unless we address them we can sometimes find ourselves blocked and confused. I believe our pasts hold the key to our futures. If you are looking to heighten your intuition, dream state, or just need some direction, I would love to meet you! I take private appointments I am sometimes a traveling vendor, and sometimes a booth vendor. Currently I am working in Vancouver WA in my home office. Check out the unique types of healing and readings offered and please feel free to email or text with any questions. Blessed Be!

Blessed Imbolc! Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit !!!

“Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit!”
A blessed first of February to You!
Blessed Brigid’s Day/Imbolc in the Northern Hemisphere! 🤍🔥
Blessed Lúnasa/Lammas in the Southern Hemisphere! 🌾💛

Saying “Rabbit rabbit rabbit” aloud upon waking on the first day of a new month is an old charm to ensure good fortune throughout the month.
✨🐇🐇🐇✨

“Additionally, the Rabbit and Hare have also long been associated with the Goddess and were the totem of several: the hare to Artemis and Hecate, the sacred rabbit to Aphrodite, to Holda who was accompanied by several torch-bearing hares, to Cerridwen and Freyja who both had hare attendants, and, of course, to Eostre who was said to have taken the shape of a hare at each full moon and whose Anglo-Saxon counterpart, Ostara, was often depicted with a white hare by her side.

There are many more goddesses associated with or attended to by both rabbits and hares and, in such, these gentle creatures can assist us in becoming more attuned to the lunar cycle. All rabbits in general are associated with the Moon, magick, luck, love, creativity, success, sensitivity, agility, spontaneity, abundance, rebirth and, of course, fertility.”

🐰NOTE: In addition to the article above, throughout Mesoamerica, the rabbit also attends the goddesses Coyolxauhqui and Ixchel, and in Chinese mythology, the Moon goddess Chang’e has a rabbit companion who mixes an elixir of life in a mortar and pestle.

Brigid or Saint Brigid — Who Do You Honour at Imbolc?

On 1 February, who do you celebrate?

🌿 Brigid — the ancient Irish goddess of fire, poetry, healing, and renewal
✝️ Saint Brigid — the Christian saint, protector of the poor, keeper of the flame

Or do you see them as two faces of the same powerful figure, carried across centuries as Ireland changed?

Imbolc is about light returning, life stirring, and new beginnings — but the name we give that power matters to some, and not to others.

💬 So let’s hear it:
Who do you honour at Imbolc — Brigid the goddess, Saint Brigid, both… or neither?

𝑵𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒈 𝒏𝒂 𝒎𝑩𝒂𝒏 𝑺𝒐𝒏𝒂 𝑫𝒂𝒐𝒊𝒃𝒉* - HAPPY WOMEN'S CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL. Nollaig na mBan or women’s Christmas falls on the 6th of January each year. Women traditionally enjoyed a day of pampering while the menfolk took over all the housework. This old Irish tradition acknowledges the graft of weary mothers and grandmothers over the festive season. The day is more commonly known to the rest of the world as the Feast of the Epiphany or the Twelfth Night and sometimes Little Christmas. It marks the official end of the 12 days of Christmas. These days husbands get of lightly as most celebrants enjoy a pamper day at a spa interrupted by lunch with Prosecco.

Traditionally Christmas Day was celebrated with men's fare like beef and whiskey while Nollaig na mBan is more associated with the dainties preferred by women like cake, tea and wine. In France to celebrate Epiphany they eat Galette des Rois (translates as King Cake), made of puff pastry and frangipane. The tradition of King Cake extends through many countries including Spain (who have Roscón de Reyes) & Greece (Vasilopita), they even had a similar twelfth night tradition involving a cake or pie in England. In French and English custom a bean and a pea was included, the receivers of which became king or queen for the evening. In Italy, on the eve of epiphany, gifts are delivered to children by Befana (an old woman similar to St Nicholas or Santa Claus). Luckily no carrots had to be left out for the reindeers so the Italians left out wine and morsels of food for her. She must have been well plastered and stuffed by the time she got home.

Epiphany is the "festival of the manifestation of Christ to the gentiles" in the persons of the Magi. The word literally translates as appearance or manifestation, especially of a deity. Very often these days the word is used to describe a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.

*just for the grammar nerds and in case you were wondering 'Nollaig' is a feminine noun so when followed by the adjective 'sona' lenition is required (the letter h as the second letter). The rule is - lenition should occur after feminine nouns in the nominative/accusative singular e.g.: bean mhór = big woman. However 'sona' is preceded by mBan which is in the genitive case and therefore lenition is not required. (h is not a letter in Irish, it is a séimhiú meaning that the sound of the preceding consonant has to be softened. The use of the letter h is relatively new, previously a dot or buailte was used over the letter to indicate the occurrence of a séimhiú.)

Approximate pronunciation guide
Nollaig - nul-laig
na mBan - nah mon/man (depending on the dialect)
séimhiú - shay-vu
sona - son-ah
shona - hon-ah
