What began as a simple idea—providing durable medical equipment to those in need at NO COST—has grown into something truly impactful.

We’re proud to continue that mission by distributing thousands of pieces of equipment and saving our community millions of dollars—helping countless individuals live with greater dignity, comfort, and support.

Huge thank you to Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood Association and Waste-Free Advocates Spring Green event for their incredible support of A Caring Closet! 💚

Because of this amazing community effort, a large collection of gently used durable medical equipment was donated — wheel walkers, crutches, and more… OH MY!

With a total value of $4,115.37, every single item is reusable and ready to help someone in need. That’s real impact.

We’re so grateful for neighbors helping neighbors and making a difference.

We were just $3,000 short of reaching our ambitious fundraising goal for our annual Whiskey Wine and Wheelchair Fundraiser until Tammy, CEO of Arcadia at Lookout Ridge, stepped in and made sure we crossed the finish line.

Tammy generously covered the difference so we could officially hit our goal, and that kind of support deserves a big shoutout. This is what it looks like when people show up for something they believe in.

Thank you, Tammy and Arcadia for your generosity and for helping us continue to provide medical equipment to those who need it for free.
