November's film is A Monster Calls is a moving story about a boy named Conor who is struggling with his mother’s illness, bullying at school, and the fear of losing control of his world. One night, a giant tree-like monster appears and tells Conor three stories, each revealing lessons about truth, courage, and grief. Through these encounters, Conor learns that facing his emotions is part of healing.
Join us for this film and stay for a discussion afterwards with VYFS counselors to talk more about finding our own healing through creativity and storytelling.

Please help us spread the word and let folks know there are resources on the island to keep all who need food assistance secure. And if you're able, please consider a gift to one of the organizations below at this critical time. We have so much as a community - no one on Vashon should ever go without food or housing.
