Dear Fair Family –
With hearts full of love and loss, we share with you the news that our beloved leader, George Braddock, passed away peacefully earlier this week. In his last days he was surrounded by an outpouring of love from family, friends and his greater community.
Please hug those close to you, check in on each other - and share your stories of George with each other.
Just recently George said to a close friend, “Everyday, I look for ways to uplift the people I love and care for in my life in whatever way I can.”
George loved and served the Ritz, the Flamingo Clan and the OCF. Our purpose now is to celebrate and continue his legacy. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Ritz Sauna & Showers at the Oregon Country Fair. Rest assured we will do our very best to be “Putting on the Ritz” in a manner that would make George proud.
For now, we ask for your grace and patience as we process this tremendous loss. We will have a celebration of life and will provide details in the months to come.

Welcome to the Ritz Sauna & Showers 2025

Greetings Fair Family! It’s that magical Oregon Country Fair time of year and the Ritz Sauna & Shower’s crew are looking forward to seeing you! As always, our artisans have been busy updating, repairing, maintaining and creating wonders both old and new. Come pay us a visit at booth W-34 on Sesame St., past Childcare and across from the Craft Demonstration Area.

Hours of Operation:

Tuesday & Wednesday, July 8 & 9
• Private Tub Reservations begin @ 10 am in front of Ritz

Wednesday, July 9: Fair Family Only
• 6 pm-2 am: Semi-private showers open, free for Fair Family,
Main Deck Sauna & Showers $10

Thursday, July 10: Fair Family Only
• 6 am - noon: Booth open for regular entry fees, close at noon
• 6 pm: Booth opens for duration of Fair

Friday, July 11
• 4-5:30 pm: Women Only Time on Main Deck, Semi Private Showers open for men

Monday, July 14
• 2:00 pm: Close for 2025

The Ritz is Closed Twice Daily for Deep Cleaning: Fri, Sat, Sun 3 pm - 4 pm & 4 am- 5 am

Fair Family (Wrist banded Fair Folk)
• Sauna & Showers- $15
• Semi-Private Shower- $15
• Sauna & Showers after Semi-Private Showers- $5
• Private Tub Rooms- $80 (50 minutes)
• Children’s ½ price time is 6 am to 7 pm daily ($6.00 for 12 & under w/ an adult; $6.00 in private showers).
• Children are full price after 7 pm
• Children 2 and under are free

General Public
• Sauna & Showers- $20
• Semi-Private Shower- $20

Oregon Country Fair Board Elections - Voting Deadline 10/19/24

It’s election season at the OCF. If you are a voting member of the Fair, you should have received your ballot in the mail already. If you haven’t received your ballot contact: elections@oregoncountryfair.org

October 12, 2024, 6:30pm PDT – Annual Membership Meeting. The agenda will include the State of the Peach, the Treasurers’ report and Board candidate statements.

Elections Committee will be at the Eugene office from 4pm-5:30pm. Please come to the Eugene office if you need help with a replacement ballot. You can drop off your ballot at the meeting, but the Elections Committee will not be at the Longhouse for help with ballots.
October 19, 2024 – BALLOTS ARE DUE BY 8PM at the Fair office. Ballots received after this time will not be counted.

Stained Glass in the diamond sauna was broken by falling trees during the winter ice storms and has been repaired for 2024. It is only visible to patrons inside the sauna.

Greetings Fair Family! The Ritz Sauna & Shower’s Flamingo Clan has been busy getting our beloved booth ready for OCF 2023. We’re getting each of the systems up and running, one shower valve, gasket, deck board or piece of art at a time.

Introducing the 2022 newly minted Ritz Sauna and Showers Coin/Token.
These are equal to an ‘admit one’ for Fair Family into the Ritz.
