💭🤔Are you thinking: "wait, how do you even do that? Is that even possible?"

YES - and I'll share with you how I create moments of listening to my whispers.

Let's be honest, we all struggle with knowing what we truly want. Sometimes its materialistic things, sometimes its personal things.

🤯With all that is around us and often blocking us from hearing ourselves (i.e., media, societal expectations, burdens of our ancestors) what do you expect to happen if you can't hear your own soul whispers?

😩You end up looking all around you for what you should be doing or IMO worse- you end up expecting things & people to give you what you need...and that's what leads you astray.

💅🏽Don't get me wrong you can enjoy your life with material things and carry out your duties...but you my friend have this powerful, all knowing spirit residing inside of you. It has all the answers FOR YOU - so do what you need to find it and hear it out!

Things I do depending on my mood to help me hear my internal guide:
~Go engulf in nature
~Go into solitude
~MEDITATE (walking, and still meditation help me most)
~Paint with mantra music on
~Distant myself from negative people
~Visualize my spirit and my celestial bodies & find where I am blocked and release anything I'm holding onto that doesn't serve me...

There is no one size fits all in finding out how to listen to YOU. But trust me it will never ever lead you in a direction that you shouldn't be going for your spiritual progress.

🫶🏽Why do I as an Occupational Therapist love having an ayurvedic twist?🫶🏽

It's not just a preventative approach to healthcare and well-being. It's an individualized and holistic approach to it. My first goal is to find out what's happening to you and what matters to you --> then make suggestions to help you reach your mind/body/spirit goals. I don't go based on typical assumptions or even create goals I think you need to achieve. MY focus is what is important to YOU!🫵🏽

❌ 🍪 It is not a cookie cutter way to your health. It recognizes that everyone is unique and each body type is different. It also is proven that simple diet and lifestyle adjustments make huge differences!!! You don’t have to drop all your favorite foods! ⚖️

WHAT⁠
➺Is a pungent spice that balances vāta and kapha; sweet post digestive effect⁠
➺Anti-inflammatory and appetite increasing abilities⁠
➺Can use in fresh/wet form OR dry/ground form⁠
➺Fresh ginger (wet) causes pitta aggravation (pitta is fire+water)⁠
➺Dry ginger has a bitter tone & is unctuous (drying process activates hidden volatile oils) ⁠⁠⁠
WHY⁠
➺Fresh ginger: increases appetite, relieves constipation, relieves bloating, relieves abdominal colic pain, cleans and clears tongue, helps soothe throat, relieves vomiting and hiccups, heavy in nature (more vāta pacifying)⁠
➺Dry ginger: promotes digestion, helps break down bowels to aid constipation issues, is an aphrodisiac, cardio tonic, relieves anorexia, relieves swelling, helps to absorb excess moisture (especially in intestines), helps cure rheumatoid arthritis, is light nature (more kapha pacifying)⁠

➺The oiliness in dry ginger keeps the “fire/heat” working longer so it penetrates deeper tissue layers.⁠
➺Dry form is okay for to use for those with pitta imbalances (since its post digestive effect is sweet & it has a bitter tone)⁠⁠⁠
HOW⁠
➺Make ginger tea with lemon ⁠
➺Add dry ginger to vegetables and lentil dishes when cooking (combines well with turmeric, cayenne, cumin, fennel, and coriander)⁠
➺Use with cinnamon and nutmeg and add into baking and desserts ⁠
➺Use with jaggery to help with swelling⁠
➺Use with honey to help decrease cough & respiratory disorders⁠⁠⁠
TIPS⁠
➺Have a big headache? Apply dry ginger paste and see the magic work!⁠
➺If your goal is to increase your digestive fire and decrease toxin (ama) try dry ginger as wet ginger is heavy for digestion.⁠
➺Immunity booster: boil a tea with ginger, turmeric, ajwain, salt, and black pepper. Once cooled to room temp add honey and lemon juice. DM for recipe. ⁠
➺Like in mostly all cases, do not use in excess⁠

Every other Saturday I will be open from 9am until 1pm.

Being a momma & wife, I've wanted to have a healthy balance of being able to provide for my family while also being present for them in ways they need. This commitment is new for us all but my heart is pumping to help others and this change is so I can reach more of you! I hope you all know how much your health and well-being mean to me too!

I have designated days for “in clinic” work with my clients as well as "out of clinic" work so I can have time and space to create more ways to share the knowledge I have acquired with my community!

Did you know that in ancient vedic times marma points were called bindu- secret dot or mystic point that unlocks the body's potential for healing?

Well, we have 108 mystical points/doors in ourselves -107 of them in our body and 1 in our mind! Just imagine having access to that many doors you can open for your own healing!

These 108 vital points are doorways to our own inner healing system. With the right pressure and touch, the body gets the message to produce the correct neurochemicals and hormones to heal it self.
