✨ We will have a Grinch-themed float and our community will be walking and signing along the parade route. Wear your ASL shirt or a Grinch-themed outfit and come be part of the holiday fun!

International Day of Persons with Disabilities, observed on December 3, is a UN-declared day that raises awareness about the rights, dignity, and inclusion of people with disabilities. It promotes understanding of disability issues, encourages accessible and inclusive communities, and celebrates the contributions of persons with disabilities around the world. The 2025 theme focuses on creating disability-inclusive societies and ensuring fair access to health care, services, and opportunities for everyone.

As World AIDS Day falls on December 1st, we stand in solidarity with more than 40 million people around the world that live with HIV/AIDS, and we remember and honor those we have lost their lives to HIV/AIDS.

In honor of the deaf individuals who have lost their lives to AIDS since 1989, we continue to experience loss each day. Thanks to the researchers who opened the door to breakthroughs and advancements in treatments for HIV/AIDS, and many HIV-positive people are living increasingly long lives, now extending over 25 years!
