Mystic Mondays…

I’ve always had a deep connection and quiet conversation with nature.
For a long time, I kept that part of me hidden.

It wasn’t something most people understood…
and at times, I felt the need to close myself off from it.

But that connection never left.
It just waited for me to trust it again.

Learning to trust.
Learning to listen.
Learning to awaken the senses so we can remember we are always being guided.

The portal of the heart is open.

The Heart Codex is a 6-week meditative and contemplative journey into the intelligence of the heart—where you begin to clear what’s been held, soften what’s been guarded, and become a living channel for what’s ready to move through you.

Each week you’ll receive guided meditations, energetic transmissions, and contemplative prompts, along with simple, digestible practices you can carry into daily life. We begin with a full week devoted to Rose Essential Oil—the heart’s medicine—opening the pathway into deeper awareness and connection.

This is self-paced, allowing your own experience to unfold naturally, while being held inside the Codex Circle—a shared field of others walking this path with you.

If you’ve been feeling something shift, break, or quietly open within you… this is where you meet it.

Presale is now open.
Course portal opens May 17th.

🧅This one deserves a spot on “the grid”

Last week I found myself pulled back to a trail from my previous botany class. There was a plant I couldn’t stop thinking about and knew I was meant to work with it.

Along the way, my curiosity started noticing new patterns of plants that had popped up from a few days prior.

One in particular caught my attention.
It tagged itself as onion on my photo app…

I took a photo and sent it to my teacher. He said yes, it does look like Wild Onion—let’s head back there for class and identify it further.

After our next class, he followed up with an email (second photo) confirming not only that it was ‘Early Onion’ (Allium praecox),…
but a species that has only been recorded two other times in Ojai history.

There’s something about learning to trust what quietly calls you.

Following it curiosity without needing to fully understand why.

Sometimes it leads you exactly where you’re meant to be… other times it leads you to even more than you knew was there.

You’re not lacking clarity.
You’ve just been taught to look for it outside of yourself.

That first, subtle response you feel?
That’s the one.

Not the overthinking.
Not the second guessing.
Not the need to confirm.

Your intuition is simple.
And it’s still there.

There’s something sacred that happens when women come together.
When stories are shared, laughter rises, and the walls we’ve held begin to soften.
We remember we were never meant to do this alone.

Each breath, each gesture, each gentle reflection
becomes part of a shared heartbeat —
a rhythm that reminds us of who we are
and how deeply we belong to one another.

Alchemy of Autumn is a space to return to that knowing.
To gather. To breathe. To remember.

Our Story

Ventura Pop Up Yoga was founded in efforts to bring more people to a yoga mat.

Jessy and Jen began "playing" yoga in the parks of Ventura by accident in the Summer of 2014. Jessy had just gone through her initial yoga teacher training and was required to provide 8 hours of free classes to an under served market. She invited her friends to the park that had been intimidated to attend the yoga studio she went to. After that first accidental "pop up" in the park, Jen noted that people who had never tried yoga were rolling out their mats in this relaxed environment.

In April of 2015 Jessy and Jen along with friend Heather Perry committed to Popping Up in the parks twice a week for some 'Yoga in the Wild'. These donation based classes quickly caught on and in a short amount of time their flagship Sunday class was hosting up to 50+ students a week.
