Sensory bins = screen-free magic ✨

Sensory bins are an easy, inexpensive way to keep kids engaged without screens while supporting their sensory needs. 🙌

Sensory play helps build:
🖐️ Fine motor skills
🧠 Focus & attention
🎨 Creativity & imagination
😌 Self-regulation

And the best part? You don’t need fancy supplies — just a few pantry staples!

Quick setup ideas:
👉 Fill a bin with rice, beans, pasta, oats, or kinetic sand
👉 Add cups, spoons, funnels, or small toys
👉 Let your child scoop, pour, hide, and discover

Perfect for after school, rainy days, or while you cook dinner 👌

⭐ Pro tip: Rotate materials to keep it “new” without buying more stuff.

What Is RTM? (Explained for Parents)

RTM stands for Remote Therapeutic Monitoring, but don’t let the clinical name confuse you — it’s actually very simple.

RTM is a way for your child’s therapist to support therapy progress between sessions.

We all know therapy doesn’t magically work just during the appointment.
The biggest progress happens when kids practice skills at home, in real life.

RTM helps make that happen.

🧠 What RTM Is

RTM means:

Your child gets a home therapy program

Activities are delivered through fun, game-based tools

The therapist can see progress, engagement, and patterns

The program can adjust to your child’s level and needs

Families get support without feeling overwhelmed

It’s like having therapy guidance continue between visits, not just during them.

🎮 What RTM Looks Like at Home

Short, engaging activities (often game-based)

Designed by your child’s therapist

Easy to fit into daily routines

Feels more like play than “homework”

Kids are often more motivated because it doesn’t feel like extra work.

🚫 What RTM Is Not

RTM is not:

Extra therapy sessions

Replacing your child’s therapist

Passive screen time

Parents becoming the therapist

Your therapist is still guiding everything — RTM just helps bridge the gap between visits.

📈 Why RTM Helps

Research shows that children can make 20–30% faster progress when home programs are followed consistently.

That often means:

Better carryover of skills

Less frustration at home

More confidence for your child

Sometimes even less therapy needed over time

🤝 The Big Picture

RTM works best when therapists and families are partners.

Therapy + home practice + support = better outcomes.

If you ever have questions about how RTM fits into your child’s care, your therapist is always there to help.

Day 60 of my 90-Day Challenge ❤️

It’s been a minute since I’ve written. I’ve been busy — the kind of busy that’s productive… but also a little boring behind the scenes.

Today is Valentine’s Day, and instead of working on CTN or building Dr. Cassie, I stayed in my pajamas. Didn’t even brush my hair. I played with my kid. I pulled a tarot spread. I slowed down.

The cards?
Overworked. Not much visible success yet.
But the future looks bright. ✨

And here’s the funny part… I keep finding Labyrinths everywhere I go.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know the Labyrinth is a core symbol in my life and business — not a maze with dead ends, but a winding path that always leads forward. Maybe it’s not a sign to hurry. Maybe it’s a reminder to trust the process.

So today I chose presence over productivity. Reflection over hustle.

Happy Valentine’s Day.
Go love your people. 💕

❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us at Children’s Therapy Network! ❤️

DROP IN THE COMMENTS, WHAT DOES VALENTINE'S DAY MEAN TO YOU.

Today is all about love — the love between families, children, and the therapists who cheer them on every single day. 💕

In this special video, some of our amazing kids and team members share what Valentine’s Day means to them… and their answers will absolutely melt your heart. 🥰

At CTN, we’re reminded daily that love shows up in many ways:
💗 A child taking a brave first step
💗 A high-five after a hard task
💗 A parent’s proud smile
💗 A therapist who never gives up

Thank you to the families who trust us, the children who inspire us, and the team members who pour their hearts into this work. You are the reason we do what we do. ❤️

Wishing you a day filled with kindness, connection, and lots of love.

💛 With love,
Your CTN Family

What if therapy could adapt to a child in real time — just like the video games they already love?

In this video, Dr. Cassie shares how we’re revolutionizing pediatric therapy using AI-powered, gamified activities that adjust to a child’s unique needs as they play.

This isn’t traditional therapy.
And it’s not passive screen time.

Through intelligent game-based systems, therapy activities can:
✔️ Adapt difficulty based on a child’s performance
✔️ Respond to engagement, accuracy, and progress
✔️ Personalize practice without constant trial and error
✔️ Keep kids motivated, focused, and having fun

By combining AI, gamification, and therapist-guided design, we’re able to extend therapy beyond the clinic in a way that feels natural for kids and supportive for families.

The result?
Smarter home practice.
Faster progress.
And therapy that finally meets kids where they are.

"RTM" sounds like a big, complicated clinical term… but it really shouldn't be.

Join us in exploring RTM! In this video, Dr. Cassie breaks down what Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) is — and just as importantly, what it is not.

At its core, RTM is about something we already know to be true:
Therapy doesn't end when the session ends.

Every patient — whether a child or an adult — should have a home program.
As skilled as we may believe ourselves to be, we are not magic ✨
Real progress happens when therapists and families work in partnership, practicing skills outside of sessions in everyday life.

RTM simply gives us better systems to support that partnership.

By using gamified, engaging tools, we help families:
✔️ Practice therapy activities at home
✔️ Stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed
✔️ Make home practice fun (instead of a battle)
✔️ Help kids stay motivated and engaged

Research shows that children can improve 20–30% faster when RTM systems are used consistently — which often means less therapy in the long run and more independence for families.

RTM isn't extra therapy.
It isn't replacing the therapist.
It's a smarter, more supportive way to extend care beyond the clinic.
