October is Breast Cancer Awareness month! 🎀

Not many people know, but physical therapy can help who are overcoming breast cancer.

Common side effects of Breast cancer treatment are:

- Pain: shoulder, chest, back, neck or arm
- Restricted ROM
- Weakness and fatigue
- Neuropathy
- Musculoskeletal symptoms
- Bone loss and osteoporosis
- Pain and numbness (peripheral neuropathy)

October 6- 12 is Canadians Mental Illness Awareness week! We are here to support! Did you know that mental illness is a condition that affects a person's thinking, feeling or mood. Such conditions may affect someone's ability to relate to others and function each day. Each person will have different experiences, even people with the same diagnosis.

We are proud to support Canada's Mental Illness Awareness Week that launches today through to October 12! Mental illness affects more than six million people across the country, or one in five Canadians.

Depression. Anxiety. Confusion. Concentration problems. Emotional difficulties. Personality changes. Irritability. Memory issues. These are some of the symptoms of both and that can be hard to tell apart. It’s important to understand what may be contributing to these issues and prolonged concussion recovery.
