It happens! Even our best intentions can get away from us with everything we’re juggling.

Maybe you’ve been procrastinating, making excuses, or just plain not doing what you know you should be doing.

What is the one thing you want to accomplish this year? What do you dream of, that also scares you?

That one desire is the desire you should go after whole-heartedly. Overcoming your fears + defeating self-doubt is key to reaching all of your goals.

Last year, I started the creating my Simply Ketogenic Program + let me just say, it was a bit rocky.

Now, I have a mindset that winning is the only option. This year, growing my business is my top goal… Why? Because winning is always better when you do what you love.

3 things I wish I knew 10 years ago....

Write a short letter to yourself 10 years ago, and share 3 (or more) things you want yourself to know / wish you had known.

It could be something to look out for, stop worrying about, or something silly (like “Please, please never get bangs!”)

I am sitting here 10 years on and there are some things I think you really need to know… “

1. You are never too old to go to college.
2. Proper nutrition is super important for your physical and mental health.
3. Your weight DOES NOT MATTER. Being healthy matters.

3 Keto myths you should ignore

Rumor has it… 🤫

There’s a lot of chatter in the industry just lately, some of which is true and some of which is completely false!

To put those rumors to bed, here are 3 common myths about Keto you should definitely ignore:

✨ Myth #1: You can eat any fat and as much as you want. This is not true. Healthy fats like avocado, olive oil and nuts are great but you want to limit things like bacon, butter and heavy creams. These are full of saturated fats and are not healthy for you

✨ Myth #2: You can not eat fruit. You can eat a limited amount of fruit on keto. Berries are fine and half an apple. Other fruits like oranges, mangos and bananas have too many carbs to sustain ketosis.

✨ Myth #3: Keto is always high protein. Most people choose to eat a little more protein (up to 5oz at a sitting compared to the recommended 3oz). However, you do not have to. You can always add in more veggies and healthy fats to your meal.

3 easy everyday habits to help you achieve weight loss.

Easy everyday habits you can foster right now 👏

We all want to achieve weight loss, right? Well, here’s the secret - all it takes is a complete switch of your daily habits!

For me, these habits were the crucial stepping stones I needed to find success today:

🌟 Drink more water. Your body needs at least 64oz of water a day to work properly.

🌟 Sleep. We need 6-8 hours a restful sleep to recharge our body.

🌟 Do not eat while watching TV. We tend to binge when doing something other than just eating. Try to eat and savor your food.

To quote Aristotle, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
