Meet our Board Officer of Marketing and Client Advocate, Courtney Hadlock:
If you follow our social media posts, that’s me! My journey with Finding Hope for the last 3 years has truly been an answered prayer. I've always been passionate about recognizing the intrinsic value of mothers and babies as envisioned by our Creator, and deeply committed to supporting mothers in what I believe is the most important, God-given role they will ever undertake. I believe that women and girls are uniquely made and deserve the utmost respect and care. I’ve seen up close the hardships and stresses that accompany unexpected pregnancies. I understand the importance of supporting mothers and babies, reminding them that there is a plan, a purpose, and hope. For years, I felt called to serve this mission in any capacity. I prayed, waited, and sought opportunities, hoping that God would pave a way for me to make a difference.
When Finding Hope came about, I was thrilled at the prospect of having a local initiative that supported mothers, babies, families, and built community. When presented with the opportunity, I jumped to help.
When I joined FHPRC, one of my initial responsibilities was to manage the social media pages and establish a distinct tone and voice for FH. Since then, I’ve grown into the role and expanded my responsibilities to include social media and content creation, assisting with advertising, fundraising, awareness, and event planning. I also enjoy filling in as a client advocate whenever possible.
Professionally, I am a middle school ELA teacher, hair stylist, and sometimes writer. In my personal time, I enjoy reading, baking desserts, and soaking up warm weather.
After serving three years at this organization, I remain consistently amazed at what God is doing in this community through the Finding Hope ministry.
