***Ecstatic Dance for Wellness, Resilience & Community Support***
--- In times of uncertainty, the body remembers how to heal.
This Friday evening, we invite you into Ecstatic Dance at Uinta Yoga—a space to move freely, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself and one another. This is not about steps or performance. It’s about presence, release, and remembering joy.
Ecstatic Dance is a powerful wellness practice that supports:
🌿 Nervous system regulation & stress relief
💛 Emotional release and mental clarity
🔥 Vitality, creativity, and embodied confidence
🤍 A sense of belonging without words
Throughout history, dance has been medicine.
During the AIDS crisis, dance floors became sanctuaries—places where people grieved, celebrated life, reclaimed their bodies, and found the strength to keep loving and fighting in the face of injustice. In the Human Rights Movement and beyond, movement and music offered hope when systems failed and reminded people they were not alone.
***We gather now in that same spirit.***
Your donation-based contribution this Friday directly supports keeping Uinta Yoga open—a space that nourishes mental health, embodiment, and community connection when it’s needed most. ----- Giving is not just financial; it’s an act of care, solidarity, and belief in shared healing.
*** Or invest in yourself (while helping us stay open), purchase a "Tree Membership" to enjoy unlimited classes, and come enjoy all donation-based offerings without any need for additional reciprocity. ***
Come as you are.
--- Move how you feel.
Give what you can.
