YogiBuddha YogiBuddha(YB) was born from the love of my two dogs, Yogi&Buddha, and my passion for yoga, evolved into a certification and teaching practice.

YB is both a brand and a lifestyle built around mindfulness, self-awareness, & the power of conscious choices. We hold private & open Hatha yoga sessions in our Kirkwood studio & Richmond Heights location focused on nurturing both the physical and the spiritual, the body and the mind, involving a variety of asanas tuned to a variety of levels so that both the beginner and the more advanced practitioner are both able to fully engage here. Looking for a fun way to inspire focus and creativity among your friends, coworkers and employees? Host a private yoga party in your home or workplace. We can design a session especially for your group; be it friends and family needing a loving push toward transforming their minds and bodies or employers looking to benefit from the creative problem solving and group dynamics that evolve organically from yoga practice.

Listening to my Heart & Taking the Leap

For over a decade, I’ve carried a vision in my heart — a vision that combines my love for yoga, mindfulness, and supporting others. And today, I’m finally turning that vision into reality.

While I don’t have a 100% clear picture yet, I’ve decided to take the leap and trust that the rest will unfold as it should. It's time to stop waiting for the "perfect moment" and just do it.

So here we are: Welcome to YogiBuddha, a space where mindfulness meets conscious living. I'm still teaching yoga and embracing the gift it brings to my life and the lives of others. Now, I’m adding to that by launching an online retail site that supports small, women-owned businesses, brings people together, and helps me build a sustainable future.

The website is live, but still under construction, so it’s not quite ready to share just yet. Stay tuned for more updates!

This site is more than just products — it’s a place where we can all reconnect with our hearts, support each other, and live in alignment with our true values. It’s about creating community and making choices that matter.

In person classes are returning to Pulling Down the Moon's Highland Park location. As Greek philosopher Heraclitus once said, "The only constant is change." As we enter the Autumn season, let it be a reminder that like the seasons we too are changing and developing and looking for balance. If like me, you're welcoming in this new season with a Pumpkin Latte in hand, are you also asking yourself...am I finding ways to bring comfort and equinox...balance to light and dark into my life? Namaste.

The next time you find yourself stressed from driving, work or just life in general … see if you can notice where in your body you feel that emotion. Our bodies respond in kind to what we feel. When stressed I almost always feel tension in my neck and shoulders. Over time that tension builds and before we know it we have chronic tightness in those areas. For most of us it’s hard to be aware of what we’re feeling, but we can feel that bodily discomfort. With that awareness we can try to tune into what we’re feeling. For now, use this shoulder opener from Yoga Journal to open those shoulders and just maybe release some of that tension and stored emotion.
