Our Story

Skin Care Center of Southern Illinois is the premier center for medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, laser skin treatments, and esthetic services in the Mt. Vernon area. The clinic was opened in 1993 by board-certified dermatologist George Nahass, MD and the clinicโ€™s providers include Natalie Amason, NP-C, Karilyn Crook, PA-C, Tina Hall, NP-C, Marilyn Stombaugh, PA-C, and Trisha Schumer BSN, RN-Cosmetics.

The clinic specializes in dermatological treatments for adults and children with treatments for everything from acne and alopecia to psoriasis and skin cancer. The cosmetic services include CoolSculptingยฎ, BOTOXยฎ, dermal fillers, skin peels, micro-needling, stretch mark treatments, skin tightening treatments, laser treatments, and medical-grade cosmeceutical skin care products.
