Amber – Director of Operations 💜
Meet Amber, our Director of Operations and the person who somehow manages to keep the entire Hummingbird world spinning smoothly. If you ever have a question, Amber is your go-to. She’s basically the mother of the office, with just the right mix of wisdom, organization, and those cool aunt vibes that make everyone feel welcome.
Amber brings an incredible depth of knowledge and experience to our team. She has spent 16 years as a Registered Nurse after graduating from IRSC, earned her Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, and is currently continuing her education by pursuing her PhD in Healthcare Administration at UNF. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner since 2023, further strengthening her passion and expertise in caring for others.
Amber holds what we like to call the entire library of Hummingbird knowledge. From caregivers to patients, she builds genuine connections that truly can’t be replicated. She has a special way of making people laugh—usually when they least expect it—thanks to her perfectly quirky sense of humor.

She also openly aspires to channel the legendary efficiency and confidence of Dwight Schrute from The Office — and honestly… the dedication level checks out. Truth.
Outside of keeping operations running like clockwork, Amber is a proud Italian who isn’t afraid to be vocal, loves spending time with her favorite people and family, and enjoys diving into her favorite fandoms—science fiction, Harry Potter, Wicked, and the occasional anime.
Simply put, Amber is one of the hearts behind Hummingbird. Her dedication, education, relationships, and personality help make our team exactly what it is. 💜
