To my dear valued customers!

It's hard to believe that my company is 19 years old! Back in 2001 I was finishing up a career as a secretary for IBM in New York and a secretary here in Indian River County! I didn't like it much and after twenty plus years of that, my family said how about working with dogs as they knew I was probably part-dog! So in June of 2002 I opened up Vero Beach Pet Sitters, providing pet sitting services to the residents of Indian River County with some boarding. Within four years, I purchased this property here on 6750 73rd Street and changed the direction of my services to an open boarding and daycare facility, thus changing the name to
Vero Beach Canine Country Club, Inc.

What a success my company has been for these past 19 years, including these past two years with the COVID pandemic. My staff work so hard to take care of your precious babies!

When I turned 60 five years ago, I started thinking about retirement. Three years ago, as you know, I moved five minutes away to a 55+ gated community and expanded my business to include the "house" side of the property. I was able to expand services to include grooming, swimming, massage, and overall better "flow" of our services. It's been wonderful!

I am happy to announce my retirement effective tomorrow,
Friday, December 31, 2021. What does this mean for you? Surprise!!! Stacy Gradel who owns South Paw Massage and Wellness along with her husband, Kurt, have purchased my company and property in whole! As you know, Stacy already operates her side of her business right out of my company. She will continue the same services and support you have come to expect from me! I can't think of anyone better to buy my company and continue its legacy for years to come!

It has been a pleasure serving you over these past 19 years. I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for your faith and trust in me to take care of your fur babies! This truly was the best job I ever had - thank you so much!

We have a huge ANNOUNCEMENT

The leash has been passed!……

Wow! What a journey! What was once a vision that didn’t seem attainable is now a reality. Initially starting out as a 5-year goal, that ultimately took 6, South Paw Massage and Wellness is proud to announce their biggest achievement so far, the purchase of the Vero Beach Canine Country Club!!

My husband (Kurt) and I are HUGE dog people who understand what dogs need. We look forward to taking what Lisa has created with the beautiful boarding and daycare facility and what I have created with canine health and wellness to provide an experience for your dog like no other.

We have a big vision and look forward to what the future holds. We promise to continue to provide a clean and safe place for your dog to come. A place where you can feel proud and worry free. We don't anticipate big changes, though will bring a fresh perspective and new ideas which we are excited about. Stay tuned and involved as we enhance and expand this beautiful property and amenities for our fur babies.

We are very excited to provide an unparalleled experience for not only you but certainly for your fur babies!
