Lisa Terry, MSW, LCSW
Lisa Terry, a psychotherapist, has been in private practice since 1996. Lisa received her Bachelors (1990) and Masters Degrees (1991) from Florida State University and obtained licensure by the State of Florida as a LCSW #4258 - (Licensed Clinical Social Worker). In 2015, she founded The Terry Mindfulness Center (TMC). Lisa has been in private practice in Vero Beach since 1996 and over the past several years has expanded her practice to include other professional counselors, as well as other professionals that are like minded, yet diverse. Lisa wants to create a community where people have a place to "practice" wellness, not just receive services. We are here to serve the Vero Beach community and surrounding counties with the most effective, professional, and cutting edge counseling/healing techniques and educational workshops possible. Over the last 10 years Lisa has specifically concentrated her studies on meditation, mindfulness cognitive behavioral therapy, spiritual psychotherapy, coaching techniques, visualization therapy, and motivational techniques. Creating and applying these techniques to individuals of all ages, couples, and corporate and private groups. Lisa is highly motivated to keeping up with the newest and latest research and science behind meditation, mindfulness cognitive behavioral therapy, and spiritual psychotherapy that proves its effectiveness.
Lisa is known for being compassionate, direct, down to earth, in-tuned, casual, funny, and a true believer of "people can change, we are not leopards!" However, only with action can we change.
