Serving on our board is a meaningful way to support children, youth, and families across Wisconsin while helping guide our mission and strengthen our impact. Individuals with experience serving on a nonprofit or organizational board should consider connecting. We are interested in individuals eager to share their leadership, insight, and commitment to family-driven care.

If this opportunity speaks to you—or someone you know—we’d love to connect. Learn more or express interest by emailing board@wifamilyties.org.

Together, we can continue building strong, family-driven systems of care across Wisconsin.

Honoring Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Today, we pause to honor the life, legacy, and unwavering courage of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

At Wisconsin Family Ties, Dr. King’s reminder that progress is a shared journey inspires us to support families, empower youth, and work toward communities where everyone belongs.

As we reflect today, may we carry forward his call to walk together, stand for justice, and keep moving toward a brighter future.

Holiday break is here—and with kids home from school, routines can feel upside down fast. 🎄

If your family is navigating extra energy, big feelings, or schedule changes this week, you’re not alone. A little planning (and a lot of grace) can go a long way.

Here are a few simple tips to help make holiday vacation smoother:
✨ Keep a loose routine
✨ Balance activities with rest
✨ Talk through plans ahead of time
✨ Offer choices and flexibility
✨ Remember: connection matters more than perfection

You know your child best—and whatever works for your family is enough. 💛

Wisconsin Family Ties is here to support you during the holidays and all year long. Visit www.wifamilyties.org to learn more.

🌟 This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to stand with Wisconsin families. 🌟

At Wisconsin Family Ties, our statewide network of Parent Peer Specialists walks alongside parents who are navigating the challenges of raising children with mental health, behavioral, emotional, or learning needs. Every day, we offer understanding, advocacy, and hope — because no parent should have to face these challenges alone.

Your generosity makes this work possible. đź’›

Whether it’s $5, $50, or any amount that feels right to you, your gift creates real, meaningful impact for families across Wisconsin. Every donation helps us reach more parents, offer more support, and continue building a community where families feel heard, empowered, and supported.

✨ If you’re able, please consider making a Giving Tuesday donation today.
Your kindness truly changes lives.
