Warren E. Goddard was a founding member of Connecticut 4Rightk to Life. He later became the Treasurer for New Hampshire Right To Life where he moved his growing family.

Warren and hhq5dr8is wife, Yvonne was a nurse very involved with establishing birthrights. One of his 11 children - a daughter organized busses to D.C. for the March for Life, and another daughter joined a Pro-Life order of nuns.

God, thank you for giving Warren to us with his unique gifts. Through his efforts, you've inspired many to preserve your gift of life. Spare him from any delay on his way to be with you in Heaven.
Amen.

Connecticut Governor Ella Grasso passed away on this day in 1981. The first woman to be elected a state governor in her own right, Grasso was committed to child and family welfare. A mother of two, she prohibited the state from using Medicaid to fund abortions, as she opposed the "killing of children of the poor."

After her death, many people all over the state displayed bumper stickers on their cars that read "Thank You Ella."

Three years later, the Catholic Church in Connecticut debated the topic of abortion. Archbishop of Hartford John Wheaton addressed the issue in his weekly column for The Catholic Transcript. His headline read "We Need More Ella Grassos."

Assisted su***de does not offer choice. It pressures the sick, the elderly, the disabled, and those who feel like a burden to disappear. Real compassion means pain relief, presence, and protection, not a lethal dose. Every life holds equal worth until natural death, and our laws must reflect that. Join us in the fight to protect them

Today in Washington, we march for every child whose life hangs in the balance and for every mother who deserves real support, not abortion. On these streets, we say with our voices and our feet that every human being, from the moment of conception, has equal worth and must be protected in law and in love. Thank you to everyone who braves the cold, prays, sings, and carries the truth that the unborn are part of our human family. Let us live tomorrow in a way that matches what we proclaimed today.

Everyone says abortion pills are "just like Tylenol." That’s a deadly lie. When I was a Planned Parenthood director, I took the after-hours calls. We didn’t warn women about the reality. They were told, "Sit on the toilet, flush when you see a big blood clot." More than once, sobbing women called back in the middle of the night: "It didn’t look like a blood clot. It looked like a baby. Do you still want me to flush it?"

No one talks about the trauma, the horror: solo in a bathroom, realizing the truth too late. This is not healthcare. Stop pretending abortion pills are harmless.
