BLUEGRASS COMMUNITY HOSPITAL will now be called Centerpoint Health-Versailles after Lifepoint Health’s four Central Kentucky hospitals unite under a new name and brand, Centerpoint Health, thus creating a regional health system. The other three hospitals in the system are in Paris, Wi******er and Georgetown. As winter weather moves into Central Kentucky, Centerpoint Health’s Emergency Departments will remain open to serve our communities.

Your local hospital will remain open 24/7 for emergencies and inpatient care. Thank you to our great community partners throughout Versailles and Woodford County who help keep members of our community safe!!

As we prepare for this weekend's snow, the City of Versailles reminds everyone that the main purpose for clearing roads is so first responders can safely deal with emergencies. If at all possible, please refrain from parking on the street.

As crews plow, it is necessary to plow to the right. This could cause snow to pile up in front of driveways. Due to limited resources and the quantity of snow anticipated, plow trucks cannot come back and clear driveways. The City of Versailles recognizes that this is an inconvenience, but residents should be prepared for this.

As we navigate the wintery weekend, the best thing residents can do to help is to stay off the roads as much as possible. We are fully stocked with salt and have crews on standby to report to work when needed. We appreciate your cooperation. Be safe out there!!

We’re proud to share that Cardiologist, Dr. Thomas, with Centerpoint Cardiology joined Hank FM for a radio interview to help our community prepare for Heart Month.

During the interview, Dr. Thomas discussed the warning signs of a heart attack and the importance of knowing Hands-Only CPR, a lifesaving skill that anyone can learn and use in an emergency.
