After my taking my autoimmune disease into my own hands, I wasn’t listening to what I was told that medication and “pushing through” were my only options—but deep down, I knew there had to be another way.

That’s when I discovered functional nutrition and began exploring the gut-hormone connection. Through testing, I uncovered hidden imbalances that were driving my symptoms. Once I supported my gut, balanced my hormones, and nourished my body with seasonal, whole foods, everything began to shift.

It’s time to change the definition of success…

The one thing I think most people miss when it comes to healing their gut and balancing their hormones is that it doesn’t happen overnight.

Because transformation happens in stages, it’s so important to take time to celebrate the smaller wins.

The smaller wins lead to the bigger ones.
We should be celebrating every step forward—like having more energy in the morning, fewer cravings, better sleep, or simply remembering to pause and breathe before reacting.

We should also celebrate the lessons we learn when things don’t go perfectly. Every setback teaches your body and mind something valuable about what it needs.

Success isn’t just reaching your final health goal—it’s about the transformation that happens along the way… not only in your body, but in the person you’re becoming.

So let’s celebrate progress, not perfection.

𝗣𝘀𝘀𝘁… 𝗜𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻… 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴
It’s interesting how people often hold practitioners in the wellness world to a higher standard than they hold themselves. We’re expected to eat perfectly, never get stressed, and have all the answers all the time—as if we aren’t human beings too.
Yes, I 𝗱𝗼 know a lot about functional nutrition, gut health, and hormone balance.
Yes, I’ve found a way that works for me and for many of my clients to move from constant fatigue, bloating, and hormone chaos to feeling balanced, energized, and in control again.
Yes, my approach—rooted in testing, nourishment, and lifestyle alignment—𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 work. It changes lives. It’s transformational.
But no, I am not perfect.
I haven’t “arrived.”
I’m still learning, growing, and working on myself—and I expect to be for the rest of my life.
Anyone who tells you they’ve figured it all out probably isn’t being 100% transparent.
I still have moments where I stay up too late watching a show, skip my morning walk, or enjoy a little too much dark chocolate, even though I know my body will remind me later.
The point isn’t perfection—it’s 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.
It’s about listening to the body, learning from it, and making small, consistent choices that support long-term balance.
So if you’re looking for a perfect example, keep looking.
But if you’re looking for someone who understands the real-life challenges of balancing hormones, healing the gut, and creating sustainable wellness without restriction or burnout—I’m your person.

When it comes to healing from the root cause, here are three important lessons I’ve learned:

🌿 Mindset is everything. Healing isn’t linear. There will be good days and bad days, but both are part of the process. The bad days often reveal what still needs attention—and that’s progress.

🌿 We’re not meant to do this alone. Healing requires support, accountability, and community. Having others who understand what you’re going through makes all the difference.

🌿 Not everyone will get it—and that’s ok. You don’t need everyone to understand your journey. You just need to trust your body, your intuition, and the process.

Healing from the root cause doesn’t mean doing a complete life overhaul overnight.

Making small, consistent changes to nutrition and lifestyle creates powerful, lasting results—and you’ll be more likely to stick with them.

Choose one or two of these simple switches and share in the comments which ones you’re going to try this week:
