The entire Roberts Eyecare team is excited to introduce Dr. Alyssa Motter and Dr. Richard Motter — the newest members of our Roberts Eyecare family!

Drs. Alyssa and Richard Motter share a remarkable journey — they went to school together, graduated together, and began their careers together. Now, they’re continuing that path with Roberts Eyecare, proudly serving patients at both our Sidney and Vestal locations.

Both Dr. Alyssa Motter and Dr. Richard Motter received their Doctor of Optometry degrees from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in 2025. Dr. Alyssa Motter earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Scranton in 2020, and Dr. Richard Motter completed his undergraduate degree in 2019.

As compassionate and dedicated optometrists, the Motters are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. They take pride in building lasting relationships with their patients and helping each one achieve clearer vision and better overall eye health through personalized care and education.

Their shared journey reflects the heart of Roberts Eyecare’s family-focused approach — where every patient is treated like family.
