***STORY TIME**

I saw a GoFundMe link yesterday for a neighbor’s funeral, and it stayed with me all evening. Not because of the tragedy ,though that’s hard enough,but because of the comments.
You could tell the kids were scrambling. One cousin was asking about the viewing, an aunt was arguing about the casket cost in a public thread, and the siblings were clearly trying to do the math on their phones while mourning.

It wasn't the "tribute" anyone pictured.
The truth is, when we don't have a specific plan in place, we leave our families to make massive financial decisions during the worst week of their lives. It’s a lot of pressure to put on people who are already hurting.
Setting up a final expense plan isn't about being morbid or scared. Honestly? It’s just a quiet, responsible thing grown-ups do.

It’s the "adulting" equivalent of making sure the doors are locked at night. You handle it once, put the paperwork in a drawer, and then you get back to actually enjoying your life.

THIS IS THE HARDEST THING IVE EVER DONE. You see my talking about being able to serve families
But what they don’t see is the grind. The days I wanted to quit. The chargebacks. The canceled calls. The no answers.
The moments I sat in my car crying but still showed up.

These last 90 days? They’ve tested me.
