PRE-HOSPITAL BLOOD PRODUCTS

🚑 Exciting News for Our Community! ❤️
We’re proud to announce that our EMS service now carries lifesaving blood products on our Paramedic Chase Car! 🩸

This means that patients experiencing severe trauma, bleeding, or other critical emergencies can now receive life-sustaining blood transfusions before ever reaching the hospital — giving them a better chance at survival when every second counts.
This advancement is a huge step forward in prehospital care, and we’re grateful to our medical director, UC Hoxworth (our blood bank partner) for making it possible, Switzerland County Health Department for obtaining our transport cooler and our medical supply vendors PennCare and Boundtree Medical.

Your safety is our mission — and now, we’re even better equipped to serve you when it matters most.

When you see UC Hoxworth in town accepting blood donations please consider donating so these precious blood products can remain available to us. We will be hosting several blood drives throughout the upcoming year, stay tuned for updates on when and where the blood drives will be in our community.
