I love the way a relaxed body looks.

This was our second follow-up session with Massage and PEMF, and in just one week we’ve already seen strides in her rides.

Session 1
Our first session focused on evaluating the entire body and creating a game plan. We listened closely to the rider’s concerns and feedback from recent rides so we could target the areas needing the most attention.

One week later…

The update we received was exactly what we hope to hear:
“Her shoulders felt like they finally broke free. I can tell she’s starting to use her hind end more, and the bracing has noticeably improved.”

Session 2
During our follow-up we reassessed the body and continued working through the areas we initially focused on. The releases kept coming one after another throughout her body.

That kind of response tells us she’s allowing the work and we’re getting the full benefit of the therapy throughout her body.

🚨 This is why follow-up sessions are so important! 🚨

Tulsa has a big competition season ahead with goals to grow and excel in her discipline. To help keep her feeling and performing her best, her owner placed her on a bi-weekly maintenance plan combining Massage and PEMF.

We’ll continue tracking her body progression and rider feedback along the way. 😊

✨ If your horse is entering a heavy show season, preventative bodywork can make a huge difference in comfort, performance, and longevity.
📩 Message me to get your horse on the schedule dont forget we are running our combined sessions at $90 thats a great price for both!!

Windows for Sale – $100 for both

Two windows available for $100 for the pair. Nothing wrong with them they were previously used in an office space in Devon’s barn that we removed during renovations.

They’ve just been sitting outside by our white barn and could use a quick wash, but they’re in good working condition and ready to be reused.

Great for a barn, garage, house, shed, or workshop project.
I didnt measure them but they’re good size.

Message me if interested!

ISO places to purchase ⬇️

Shelters Equine friendly that are not outrageously priced.

Would it be best to build my own?

Also round bale feeders metal or wishing wells?

Shots, Coggins, and ultrasound are done.

The plan moving forward is to start slowly easing Whiskey back into light conditioning the second weekend of April. The month of May will be dedicated to conditioning, and then we’ll see where we’re at and follow up with another ultrasound. Maybe we bring him back in June, or maybe I hold off another year and just trail ride him because im scared 110% for anything to happen to him again.

Time will tell.

Sway, on the other hand, is cleared and will be resuming training and im stoked for her.

But the truth is… this journey with Whiskey has been a long 14 months.

Early mornings. Late nights. Long days wondering if I’d ever get to swing a leg over him again.

What many people don’t know is that the timing of all of this couldn’t have been worse. It happened during one of the hardest chapters of my life while I was going through a lot personally… including Dev getting sick. Even now, I still struggle to talk about that time because everything seemed to happen at once.

Maybe one day I’ll share more about it.
But right now, some things are still hard to put into words.

Through it all, I cried a lot.

Not because I was worried about racing again. The barrel pattern has never been what mattered most to me. I love the sport, don’t get me wrong but I love my horse more. His health and soundness will always come before anything else.

For the questions that still seem to float around or that i get asked often.

Yes, I still own him.
No, he will never be for sale.
Obviously hes alive.
Nobody else is running him.
And no, this didn’t happen because he was competing.

He was kicked.

Sometimes accidents just happen when you have horses, and that’s the reality of loving them.

I’ve had Whiskey for six years now, and I always joke that I think he hates me. His face definitely doesn’t scream “i love you mom!”

But through the process of healing him… we grew closer than i knew was possible

Tonight while I sat in his stall giving him his red light therapy, he turned his head toward me and gave me the softest blink. I walked over and sat down beside him. He loves his red light time.

Then he slowly dropped his head right into my hands.
He doesn’t do that often.

So I just sat there and soaked it in… confessing my love for him crying and telling him how perfect he is to me..

Maybe the horse does love me after all.

He just makes me feel like a mom whose kid has hit that independent teenage phase… wanting nothing to do with me until he needs me. 🤣

But after everything the last 14 months have held…

Just having him here, healthy, and standing beside me is more than enough.
With that being said as you know it,
I am the lucky one ☝🏼🤍

10 Days In with Mabel

Mabel patiently waited while I raked the round pen today a small moment, but an important one. Standing tied quietly is part of the foundation, and she’s doing really well with it. She’s also become quite the fan of her hay bags while she waits.

Our lunging session was beautiful today. She picked up each lead, moved off my cues side to side, and her transitions were incredibly subtle and soft. No gadgets, no shortcuts just slow, collected work and clear communication. What made me happiest was how effortless her build-up into each transition was. That kind of softness only comes from understanding, not force.

We also continued working around the mounting block. Desensitizing, taking our time, and introducing pressure in small steps. I hopped on and off a few times, from both sides, then called it a day. She’s still a little touchy, and that’s okay there’s no need to rush when they’re learning to trust the process.

Groundwork like lunging, standing tied, and controlled exposure to pressure is where the real foundation is built. When a horse understands these basics, everything under saddle becomes clearer and safer for both horse and rider.

Ten days in, and I’m really happy with where she’s at. We’ll keep working through the little kinks, one quiet step at a time. 🤍
