One who knew your whole family, and took the time to talk to you about all your health issues and concerns, not just your current symptoms? We at Storybook Farm want to be your pet's family doctor ... we still believe in taking the time we need to get to you and your pet(s). Located just outside of Rochester in Victor, NY, we are a group of dedicated veterinarians and other animal professionals that would love to welcome you and your pets into our family. We provide you with quality veterinarian care throughout your pet's life - we want to be your partner in your pet's care. Although we have what some might call old-fashioned approach to our care, our facility offers the latest in modern veterinary equipment, as well as an on-site laboratory and pharmacy for your convenience. Our surgical suite also includes an x-ray room and a separate recovery wing for our patients. If you need to board your pet(s), we also have both an indoor boarding area and outdoor runs for your pet's enjoyment during nice weather.

This week we will have regular office hours Monday and Tuesday. Christmas Eve we will be opened from 8 am-12 noon. We will be closed on Thursday for Christmas Day and re-open Friday 10am-4pm. The Holidays are time for delicious food and fun with family and friends. It is also a time we see a lot of dogs with pancreatitis. Be sure pets are not given fatty, greasy or oily food and watch for repeated vomiting, loss of appetite and abdominal pain. Have a supply of healthy dog snacks handy for guests to treat pets instead of table food. Any signs of illness be sure to contact us immediately or seek urgent care after hours.

We are at a point in our construction where they are opening up our existing space. We understand that it may be loud at times and will do our best to accommodate any concerns our clients might have. We are happy to offer curbside visits or run medication and food out to the parking lot if individuals do not want to come inside. This is temporary and we appreciate your patience as we work through this next phase of construction. Just a reminder to be sure cats are securely in carriers and dogs are leashed as we do not want them frightened by sudden noises. We hope you are as excited as we are to see the finished space.
