We want to share this openly and honestly - We fully support the intent and spirit behind tomorrow’s closures, and we deeply respect the businesses and individuals who are making the choice to participate by closing their doors - we see you ♥️
As a small business that has just opened two new locations, fully closing each of our eight studios isn’t something we can financially sustain right now. Like many local Rochester businesses, we’re doing our best to hold our values close while also keeping our doors open, supporting our team, and continuing to show up for our community.
Please know that choosing to stay open doesn’t mean we’re staying silent. To turn our presence into progress, we will be donating a portion of tomorrow’s sales to , an organization that provides critical support and advocacy for immigrant children (with gratitude to our friends for helping us make this decision).
Lumos is, and always will be, a welcoming and inclusive space for ALL. Thank you for continuing to show up for us and for one another.
