Sunday is the annual Orwig reunion. We found some photo albums at Verla (Orwig) Stevens house and will have them there for others to look at.

We know how to put on a spread! We were a small group, but stories of days long ago were shared. One was of how they had a farm in Iowa and Illinois at the same time. There was speculation on how they managed it back then considering the vehicles and distance. No one was quite sure how long they had property in 2 states.

Today the local descendants of Elmer Orwig gathered for the annual Orwig reunion. Elmers youngest and last living child Verla is still going strong at 94. The youngest in attendance was Kory Stevens the great grandson of Verla.
