Prior to opening; Grace Funeral Home, we acquired McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home, located in downtown Victoria and operated there until the Houston Highway location remodeling was completed. Our Victoria facility is approximately 9,000 squared feet and we are located on 4.5 acres. Our parking area will hold approximately 130 cars with additional parking available on property. Grace Funeral Home also offers a private on-site reception facility for our families. In March 2006, we agreed to purchase Alamo Heights Baptist Church in Port Lavaca, knowing their intentions were to build a new location on Trinity Shores Drive within 2-3 years. Until then we leased to purchase the location, which allowed us to open our satellite location as Grace Funeral Chapel. In August 2010, Alamo Heights Baptist Church moved into their new location and we began to remodel and updated the facility. Our Port Lavaca location at 1604 W. Austin is comprised of two buildings, the front is our business office, arrangement office, selection room, private on-site reception facility and visitation room. The back building is our 4,800 square foot chapel used for services, visitations and Rosary Services, it seats 225+ that has lounge area and restroom facilities. In November of 2012 we purchased the Colonial Funeral Home in Goliad it is Victoria style built around 1900 and was Roy Thomas Funeral Home. It has been renovated keeping all the warmth and charm of the early 1900's, Grace Funeral Home Goliad is located at 214 N. Market Street in Goliad. In May of 2015 we purchase a second location in Victoria, Grace Memorial Chapel at 8819 US Hwy 87 North (formerly Heritage Funeral Home) locate at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Charles Hauboldt is an active member of T.F.D.A. the Texas Funeral Directors Association, a member of N.F.D.A., the Victoria Chamber of Commerce and sponsor for the Bluebonnet Youth Ranch. It has been a pleasure to reach out and grow to serve the families in the surrounding areas of Victoria, Port Lavaca and Goliad.
