March is Kidney Cancer Awareness Month 🎗

Kidney cancer may not always show early symptoms, which is why awareness and routine checkups are so important. Knowing your risk factors, such as smoking, high blood pressure, and family history, can make a difference in early detection and outcomes.

Together, we can raise awareness, support those affected, and promote early detection.

Six years ago, COVID-19 changed life in Victoria in ways none of us expected.

Citizens Medical Center, in collaboration with the Victoria County Public Health Department, recently reflected on how our community came together during that difficult time and how the experience continues to shape healthcare today. It was an honor to care for our community during such an unprecedented time.

We’re grateful to the The Victoria Advocate for featuring the story on the front page and sharing it with the community. Most importantly, we remember the 368 lives lost in our area and the strength and compassion shown by so many during that time. 💙

Citizens Medical Center was proud to attend the Growing Victoria Summit today. We had the opportunity to hear valuable insights on strategic growth from Newmark Group and learn about the strong educational pathways shaping the future of our community from Victoria Independent School District, Victoria College, Texas A&M University–Victoria, and St. Joseph High School.

We also appreciated hearing the State of the City address from Mayor Duane Crocker, highlighting the exciting momentum happening across Victoria.

At Citizens, we are proud to serve this growing community and remain committed to supporting the health and well-being of the people who call Victoria home. The future here is bright, and we are honored to be part of it.
