Well, I've mentioned Valor twice and not said a word about it! So here we go: Valor!
As per the 6th edition essential oils desk reference, Valor "was formulated to balance energies and instill courage, confidence and self-esteem. It helps the body self-correct it's balance and alignment."

Personal experiences with Valor:
For a quick energy boost, I apply a drop over my adrenals or to adrenal points (NOT a substitute for nutritional energy...)
My wife mixes Valor with Nutmeg (1:1) and applies to seizing/cramping muscles (gives a warming effect she says, much like pain relief gels)
Alone or mixed with Lavender or Clove, the smell can help with overwhelming anxiety, anger, or fear (useful for presentations to the board, speeches, big tests ((add peppermint!)) Etc.)

Good morning! I hope you are all well!
Today's oil is Clove.
Syzygium aromaticum, or Clove, is one of the single oils in the Thieves blend from Young Living.
A powerful oral anesthetic and general mild analgesic, clove was used in the dental industry for years. You may find it to work as a mental stimulant also: pair with lavender to encourage sleep and dreams, or Valor to combat fear and anxiety and promote a feeling of courage.

Good morning everyone!
One thing I am going to try to do is showcase a different oil every couple days or so. I'll start with one most of you are likely familiar with: Lavender!
We are probably all familiar with the concept of lavender helping you relax and fall asleep. But there is more! It may help with nausea (try pairing with Ginger!), surface burns (try pairing with Purification!), fear/anxiety (pair with Valor), concentration and mental acuity (pair with peppermint).
Research suggests the following about Lavendula Angustifolia, commonly known as Lavender.
Medical properties: antiseptic, antifungal, analgesic (pain reducer), antitumoral, anticonvulsant, vasodilating, relaxant, anti-inflammatory, reduces blood fat/cholesterol, combats excess sebum on skin.
Uses: Respiratory infection, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, menstrual problems/pms, skin conditions (perineal repair, acne, eczema, psoriasis, scarring, stretch marks), burns, hair loss, insomnia, nervous tension.
Fragrant influence: calming, relaxing and balancing both physically and emotionally. Lavender has been documented to improve concentration and mental acuity.

Nothing I say here is meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and I am not responsible for any incident resulting from the use or misuse of this information.
