Hospice of South Texasโ€™ Gift of Light fundraiser began in 1988 and has been a cherished tradition for the past 38 years, helping provide compassionate hospice services to patients and their families.

Youโ€™re invited to visit the Gift of Light Trees at The Dornburg Center of Compassion, 1005 Mallette Drive in Victoria, throughout the Christmas season. For a donation of $10, a hand-inscribed dove honoring your loved one may be placed on one of the trees.

As we close this month of reflection, we take time to remember and honor those weโ€™ve lost.

๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Try this simple candle lighting ceremony:
โ€œAs we light these candles in honor of you, we light one for our grief, one for our courage, one for our memories, and one for your love.โ€

Each light is a reminder that healing takes time and that love continues even through loss.

If you or a loved one are interested in additional support, don't hesitate to reach out at (361) 572-4300.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. ๐Ÿ’œ HOST: Here for Your Journey

The holidays are full of memories. Finding ways to intentionally include your loved one can bring both comfort and connection. ๐Ÿ’œ

Here are a few meaningful ideas:
- Set a place at the table with a candle, flower, or keepsake in their honor.
- Take time to share memories and stories, embracing both laughter and tears.
- Write notes or letters to your loved one and place them in a stocking, keep them private, or release them as part of a personal act of remembrance.

Every act of remembrance can help keep their love close on this journey.
