As we grow in our careers and in our lives, our paths sometimes take us in new directions—directions we may not have expected, but ones that are still beautiful and meaningful. And that’s okay. That’s life. We understand, and we that fully. 👏👏👏

Today we said a tearful, love-filled goodbye to our wonderful Crown Hospice Clincal Supervisor, Liza.
We are incredibly for the time we were blessed to have Liza on Team Crown. She taught us so much—not only clinically, but about , grace, resilience, and what it means to truly show up for people!❤️

Today we celebrated her with tearful hugs, heartfelt goodbyes, cake, and even a few good laughs. We will miss her more than words can say, but we know she’s headed toward great things!🥳

Liza, you will always have your Crown family behind you. We believe in you, we’re proud of you, and we wish you nothing but the very best. Good luck—you’re going to do amazing. 💛👑

💛☃️ ℂ𝕣𝕠𝕨𝕟 𝔽𝕒𝕞𝕚𝕝𝕪 𝔽𝕦𝕟 🎄💙

At Christmastime, so many events are truly a family affair here at Crown Hospice — and the Victoria Lighted Christmas Parade is definitely one of our favorites! 🤩

We had an absolute blast riding on our float and loved having the kiddos join us. Spending the evening together, surrounded by a great crowd and an amazing , filled our hearts with Christmas spirit. 🥰

We are to be part of a faith-based company that believes in keeping family at the center of everything we do. ❤️

The holiday season is often filled with togetherness, traditions, and warmth. But when a loved one is living with a serious illness, these familiar moments may feel different. There may still be laughter and celebration, but there may also be quiet pauses, tender conversations, or waves of emotion that arrive unexpectedly.

This experience is known as anticipatory grief, the feelings we have when we begin to process a loss before it happens. It is not a sign of giving up. It is a sign of love. 🤍

Here are gentle ways to cope during this meaningful season:
✅ Acknowledge Your Feelings - It’s okay to feel joy and sadness in the same moment. Grief is not one thing. It is many.
✅ Create Moments of Connection - Share memories, hold hands, sing a favorite holiday song, or simply sit together. Often, the smallest moments become the most cherished.
✅ Communicate with Loved Ones - Let those around you know how you’re feeling. Honest conversations can bring comfort and understanding.
✅ Give Yourself Permission to Pause - If emotions become heavy, take a step outside, breathe, or find a quiet space. Rest is a form of care.
✅ Seek Support When You Need It - A counselor, support group, or someone who understands can offer grounding and compassion during this time.

Even in the uncertainty, love is still here. And love is what carries us through.

Crown Hospice was blessed to volunteer in Yorktown in Yorktown this week with YAM to help fill food boxes for local residents in need. 💛👑
Whether due to illness, mobility challenges, or other circumstances, many in our small communities rely on food delivery — and we are for the opportunity to serve and support them.

Our Crown Hospice Crew had a wonderful time supporting VCAM today — and we were extra to run into our dear friend, Roman!💙 He was hard at work, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a few pics 📸 with the team and catch up! Moments like these remind us why we love being part of this . 🙌✨️

Ｓｅｎｉｏｒ 🎅 Ｂｉｎｇｏ

Crown Hospice enjoyed participating in the last Senior Bingo of the year, hosted by Victoria Parks and Recreation!🎉 December’s Bingo had another amazing turnout, and as always, we truly being part of this special event for our area senior citizens.💛
