Kayrianna Riser, LMSW
Social work plays an important role in supporting quality care and positive outcomes for residents in a nursing home. By advocating for residents’ needs, coordinating with the care team, and providing emotional support to both residents and their families, social workers help ensure that each person receives compassionate, individualized care. Their work helps residents feel safe, respected, and heard, which can greatly improve their overall well-being and quality of life. I chose social work because I have a strong passion for helping others and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Being able to support residents through challenges, celebrate their stories, and help them maintain dignity and comfort is what makes this work so rewarding and meaningful to me. 💙
