Massage moves a lot more than just muscles. During a session we stimulate circulation, lymphatic flow, and release metabolic waste that’s been sitting in tight tissue and fascia. When you drink water afterward, your body is able to flush those byproducts out more efficiently.
If you don’t hydrate, you might feel sluggish, achy, or even flu-like the next day because your body is still trying to process everything that was released during the massage.
Water helps your body:

• Support lymphatic drainage
• Reduce soreness after deep work
• Help your body recover faster
