🎄 Christmas Baby Blessings Needed 🎄

***Correction*** Size NB Diapers needed

As we prepare to bless our families this Christmas season at The Rose of Sharon Life Center, we could really use a few essentials for our little ones. 🎁
We are currently in need of:

🍼 Size NB and 6 diapers
🧻 Baby wipes
🛁 Baby shampoo
💗 Baby lotion

If you’d like to donate and help, make this Christmas a little brighter for our babies, we would be so grateful. Every gift of love makes a difference!

As Advent begins, we enter a season of quiet hope—waiting, watching, and preparing our hearts. Advent reminds us that light always breaks through the darkness, and that God is faithful to every promise.

Whether this season finds you busy, joyful, or carrying something heavy, may these weeks draw you closer to the One who brings peace to every heart.

Let’s slow down, breathe deeply, and make room for Him.

🍂 In All Things, Give Thanks 🍂

This Thanksgiving, our hearts are full. At The Rose of Sharon, we are grateful for every mother, father, baby, volunteer, donor, and friend who walks through our doors or supports our mission from near or far.

In every challenge, every victory, every act of kindness, and every small miracle—we see God’s goodness. 🙌

This week we pause to remember that gratitude isn’t just for the bright moments, but for the lessons, the growth, and the grace that carries us through each season.

May your Thanksgiving be filled with hope, peace, and the comforting reminder that in all things, give thanks.

A huge thank you to our neighbors at Agape Worship Center ✝in Victorville!
They generously donated 10 turkeys for us to bless 10 families in need this Thanksgiving. 🦃💛

If your family could use a turkey this year, please call The Rose of Sharon Pregnancy Center tomorrow — 760.243.5006. We open at 10am. The first 10 families who reach out will receive one.

We are so grateful for this community and the way we come together to care for one another. 🙌🏼

It's Thanksgiving week! 🎉

Thanksgiving may have been officially recognized as a holiday in 1941, but its spirit goes back much further—back to the very heart of gratitude itself. Real thankfulness isn’t just a feeling; it’s directed toward Someone. When we pause to give thanks, we acknowledge that every blessing, every moment of provision, every kindness we’ve received has a source. 🙌🙏

Gratitude always has a direction. It points us toward the One who gives generously, cares deeply, and sustains us daily. Thanksgiving becomes meaningful when we recognize that our gratitude isn’t floating into the air—it’s offered to God, the giver of every good gift. 💝

Here's some things we can be thankful for this year - from Psalms 103: 1-8

🙏 Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name.
💛 Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all His benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
⛓️➡️👑 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
🦅 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
⚖️ The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.

💗 A Big Thank You to Claudia & Joshua! 💗
We are so grateful for two of our wonderful Parenting Connection parents, Claudia and Joshua, who stopped by today with 8 bags of gently used baby clothing and one bag of formula for our families. 🧸👶✨

Their sweet baby girl Esmeralda has grown so much this year and look at all that beautiful hair! — Claudia even labeled each bag by size to make it easy for the volunteers to process and put away in the clothing closet. 🥹💕

Your generosity, thoughtfulness, and kindness truly make a difference. Thank you for blessing our center and the families we serve! 🌸🙏✨ We appreciate you!

Highlights of last week, we had sweet babies, we had donations of baby clothes from Dana Hernandez at Rock n our Disabilities, and baby blanket donations from Rose from Living Hope church in Hesperia. Also some food donations from high desert second chance delivered by Olivia. Thank you God for all these blessings.

Learning something new or navigating an unfamiliar situation can feel overwhelming. How should we begin? If you take a few minutes and read Colossians 1 verses 15-28 you will see that before we were believers, we were alienated from God, strangers to his way of thinking and enemies in our minds. Sin twisted our way of thinking and believing. However, if we continue in our faith, established and firm, and never let go of the confidence and hope we have in Jesus - or the gospel, we will no longer feel lost, wandering in the dark. Jesus came to us, and became like us, so we can become like him - this is our Hope. Our source of hope is Jesus.

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15
