We would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! We are so grateful to be part of such a supportive community filled with dedicated veterinarians and amazing pet parents.
We would also like to add a reminder about sharing table food with pets. While we all want our furry friends to join in the celebration, certain holiday foods can cause more harm than we realize. The next slide highlights items to be especially cautious about.
If you believe your pet may have ingested any of these foods, please give us a call right away.
Enjoy, stay safe, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🦃🐾

September is National Pain Awareness Month!! While this is often recognized in human medicine, it’s just as important to recognize pain in our pets. Animals can be experts at hiding discomfort, so it’s critical to watch for subtle signs like limping, decreased appetite, excessive licking, hiding, vocalizing, changes in behavior and mobility. Pain in pets can result from a variety of conditions, including arthritis, dental disease, ear infections to more critical conditions like pancreatitis, bladder stones, injuries, post-operative complications, cancer, and more. Routine veterinary visits play a vital role in early detection and management of these conditions including physical exams, blood work, and diagnostic imaging. These preventative measures can catch underlying issues before they become painful emergencies and help your pet live a longer, healthier, and more comfortable life.
Let’s raise awareness and ensure our furry companions live as pain free as possible. 🐾🩹
