🏋️Every January, patients change their habits. They get in the gym, they work out, and they eat right. They’re doing new activities. It’s a mental reset. Everyone feels great, they're looking better, are less inflamed, more active, and doing the “new year, new me."
😏Around February, people start calling our office because they’re in pain, their joints hurt, their motivation starts to decline, and they lose their progress. "What happened? This was supposed to be my year.”
💪With new activities comes stress adaptations. Muscles are adapting to more load than they’re typically used to. This is how we grow, improve strength, and get stronger. The problem becomes tightness, overload, lack of mobility, and eventually tendinitis or other musculoskeletal complaints.
