This , we are looking back at Oak Field Place, located in Henry, IL. Completed in 2020, this 1-story building features 30 senior apartments for residents age 55+.
Residents enjoy a large community room with a kitchen, fitness center, and shared outdoor patio, creating a welcoming and connected community.
A big thank you to all our partners who helped make this development possible!

It was great to attend Advancing Grundy today, hosted by the Grundy Economic Development Council and the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce & Industry. It’s inspiring to see so much progress, partnerships, and momentum shaping Grundy County’s future.
Excited to see what’s next as the community continues moving forward together.

⏳ 9% LIHTC Application Deadline: 2/25/26
As the 2026 deadline approaches, strong planning, coordination, and thoughtful design are critical in a 9% LIHTC round.
The LIHTC program delivers nearly 90% of all affordable rental housing in the U.S., making it the most effective federal tool for creating affordable homes (IHDA, 2023).
North Arrow Partners supports housing authorities, community stakeholders, and nonprofits with an integrated approach to LIHTC applications.

PSH final applications are due on 1/26/26 to Illinois Housing Development Authority
Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) provides stability, safety, and a path to independence for people facing homelessness by pairing affordable housing with tailored support. Communities benefit too, with stronger neighborhoods and reduced reliance on emergency services.

For this week’s , we are proud to highlight Main Street Lofts, completed in August 2023.

This 4-story development offers 24 units of affordable permanent supportive housing for individuals with disabilities, people experiencing homelessness, veterans in need of ongoing support, and those receiving services through Association for Individual Development (AID).

Main Street Lofts reflects North Arrow Partners’ commitment to creating housing that is not only affordable, but intentional, accessible, and rooted in long-term community impact.

We’re proud to have partnered with AID, Illinois Housing Development Authority , Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce and Cupa Pizarras on this project.

Progress is underway at Hunter’s Run in Coal City, IL. This development will feature 44 senior units across 11 fully accessible buildings, designed to provide safe, comfortable, and sustainable housing for residents.

Our goal is to create a place that not only meets housing needs but fosters a lasting, vibrant community for seniors to call home.

The historic Jefferson School is getting a new life as Jefferson School Lofts! 🏫✨
With 42 affordable housing units for residents 55+, this project preserves the building’s historic character while introducing modern, comfortable living spaces.
Through collaboration with our partners, including Iowa Finance Authority , and with critical input from the City of Oskaloosa, we’re helping meet a real community need and provide seniors with housing that makes a difference.

Transformation Tuesday: Newton Senior Living — Newton, IL

These before-and-after images highlight the transformation of Newton Senior Living, completed in March 2022.

This development brought new senior housing options for independent adults 55+ in Jasper County. We were grateful to have partnered with Oak Grove Development and funded by the Illinois Housing Development Authority for this development.

We are proud to create housing that supports people and communities for the long term.
