It was our honor and privilege to attend the presentation and book signing with Dr. Roger Landry, renowned senior living expert, preventive medicine physician, military veteran, and author of the award-winning book "Live Long, Die Short: A Guide to Authentic Health and Successful Aging." The event was hosted by our sister community, The Birches on Maple.

Dr. Landry delivered an engaging presentation on challenging stereotypes about aging and sharing practical tools for living a healthier, happier life. His Ten Strategies for Successful Aging encouraged everyone to stay curious, never act their age, and laugh often. Attendees were inspired by his energy, wisdom, and uplifting message.

As winter weather heads our way, we want our families to know that we are ready. Our community has a winter storm emergency plan in place, our generator is ready to go, and our team has staffing and supplies secured to keep everything running smoothly.

Our residents are warm, safe, and well cared for—and that’s our top priority. We encourage you to stay home, stay warm, and stay safe, knowing your loved ones are in good hands.

We’ll continue to monitor conditions closely and appreciate your trust and partnership. Cozy socks, hot meals, and extra care are already on our agenda.

Earlier this week, we turned our cooking demo into a delightful snacking social! We enjoyed making miniature fruit pies, filling crescent rolls with sweet apples or peaches. There's nothing better than coffee and friends to go along with a delicious pie!
