💞 👩‍👧‍👦 Parenting isn’t always picture-perfect. Some days are filled with laughter, others with slammed doors and tearful talks. When your child or teen pushes limits, argues or withdraws, it can leave everyone feeling frustrated — or even heartbroken.

💬 These behaviors can sometimes be signs of deeper struggles like anxiety, sadness or feeling overwhelmed. Kids may not have the words to explain what they’re going through, but their actions often speak for them.

đź’ˇ Here are a few ways to reconnect with and support your child:

• Listen first — sometimes they just need to be heard.
• Create calm moments to talk, not lectures.
• Validate their feelings (e.g., “That sounds really tough…”).
• Set healthy limits with empathy and consistency.
• Model calm by managing your own stress.

Love doesn’t mean having all the answers — it means showing up, even when it’s hard.

If emotions at home feel heavy, help is here for you and your child. Call 770-812-3266 for a free, confidential screening.

For immediate support, visit Willowbrooke Urgent Care for Mental Health and Substance Use, 20 Herrell Road, Suite 1, Villa Rica, GA 30180.

🖤 🌺 During Black History Month, we honor the resilience, strength and stories of the Black community — and that includes the journey toward emotional and mental wellness.

Too often, stigma, discrimination and lack of access make it harder for Black individuals to get the care they deserve. About one in five Black adults experience a mental health concern each year, yet fewer than four in 10 receive treatment. Barriers like cost, stigma and mistrust of the system keep many from seeking help.

đź—Ł Ways to support your wellness:
• Talk openly about how you’re feeling with someone you trust.
• Seek providers who understand your culture and values.
• Practice faith, mindfulness or meditation if it brings you peace.
• Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you.
• Take pride in your identity and community — it’s a source of strength.

If you’re ready to focus on your mental wellness, we’re here to stand with you. Call 770-812-3266 for a free, confidential screening.

For urgent support, visit Willowbrooke Urgent Care for Mental Health and Substance Use, 20 Herrell Road, Suite 1, Villa Rica, GA 30180.

❤️ ✨ Healthy relationships lift you up, not weigh you down. Whether with a partner, family member or friend, love should feel like safety, trust and respect.

When communication breaks down or boundaries get crossed, it’s okay to reach for help. A supportive conversation can make all the difference in restoring peace and connection.

đź’— Healthy relationship reminders:
• Speak honestly and listen with empathy.
• Set clear boundaries and respect others’ space.
• Take time for yourself when you need to recharge.
• Resolve conflict calmly and without blame.

Healthy love heals. Real love respects.

If a relationship leaves you feeling drained or uneasy, talk to someone who can help you regain balance.
