“I’m not good enough. I’m not smart enough. Nobody likes me.”
Sound familiar? 💭

Negative self-talk can quietly shape how you see yourself and the world — especially when you’re already struggling with your mental health.

This blog, Practicing Self-Compassion for Your Mental Health, by Francois William, MD, explores how practicing self-compassion can help you challenge those thoughts, build resilience and take meaningful steps toward healing. 🧠💙

Read the blog: https://bit.ly/4sXgbiS

You’ll learn:
✨ What self-compassion really means
✨ How cognitive behavioral therapy supports it
✨ Simple daily ways to be kinder to yourself
✨ When it may be time to reach out for help

You are good enough. You are smart enough. And you deserve kindness — especially from yourself. ❤️

Your care starts with a personalized, in-person assessment to ensure expert support — no appointment needed. Walk into Willowbrooke Urgent Care in Villa Rica today.

😟 🌿 A little worry can motivate you to prepare or plan — but when it doesn’t stop, it can take over your mind and body.

🌀 Everyday stress might come and go with life’s ups and downs.

🌧 Anxiety can cause racing thoughts, restlessness, tightness in your chest or trouble sleeping that lasts for weeks.

If worry has started running the show, support and healthy coping tools can help you take back control.

🌿 Try grounding yourself by:
· Taking slow, deep breaths
· Writing down your thoughts to get them out of your head
· Taking a walk or spending time outdoors
· Limiting media that fuels anxiety
· Talking with someone you trust

You deserve peace of mind — and small steps can make a big difference. Don’t let worry steal your calm.

💕 🕊 You show up for everyone else — but who shows up for you? Caring for others is rewarding, but it can also lead to burnout, fatigue or feelings of isolation.

💬 You can’t pour from an empty cup. Caring for your own mental and emotional health helps you care better for those who depend on you.

🌸 Simple ways to refill your energy:
• Take short breaks during the day.
• Eat well and stay hydrated.
• Get enough rest and unplug before bed.
• Ask for help or share responsibilities.
• Connect with others who understand.

Your well-being matters too. You deserve the same care you give others.

If caregiving has left you feeling drained, support is here for you too. Urgent or not, mental health care starts here.

Our team joined the community for the 2026 Carroll County Fentanyl Awareness Summit, standing together to raise awareness and support recovery in our region. 💜

Hosted at City Station in Carrollton, the summit brought together community members, leaders and advocates to share insights into fentanyl use in Carroll County, hear stories of recovery and connect with resources that save lives.

We were proud to have Brian Gibson, MA, LPC, CPCS, ICAADC, CCTP, MATS, ACS, a primary therapist with Willowbrooke at Tanner, serve as one of the event’s speakers, presenting “You’ve Got to Meet Them Where They Are.” 💬

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, shared your stories and joined the conversation. Events like this remind us that when a community comes together, real change is possible. 🤝

Together, we can continue to fight the fentanyl crisis and support those on the path to recovery. 💪
