Mercy Regional Medical Center MRMC is a 49-bed hospital that serves as the primary health resource for Evangeline Parish. MRMC is one of the area's largest employers with over 300 employees.

Mercy Regional Medical Center (MRMC) is a 48-bed acute care hospital in Ville Platte, LA. We serve approximately 40,000+ patients annually with a medical staff of 20 + physicians. Our mission is "Making Communities Healthier." We are fully accredited by The Joint Commission, our facility provides a comprehensive array of inpatient, outpatient and emergency services including surgery, imaging, cardiology, physical therapy and rehab services. ✨ Mercy Monday Spotlight ✨

This week we’re proud to recognize Kristie Perron, RD, LDN, our Director of Food and Nutrition Services!

Kristie began her career at Ville Platte Medical Center in 1998 as a dietitian. Over the years, she has served our community in both full-time and PRN clinical roles, and in 2023 she stepped into her current leadership position. Her dedication, experience, and heart for patient care make a difference every single day.

A Ville Platte native, Kristie has been married to her husband, Robby, for 30 years. They have three children and one granddaughter. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, planning events, shopping, watching movies, and spending time with her family.

Thank you, Kristie, for your many years of service and commitment to our patients and team! 💙

Program Administrator of Behavioral Health Services

Born and raised in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Archie is a certified Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse with 30+ years of experience caring for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients across inpatient, partial, and outpatient settings.

Outside of work, Archie is a family man—married to Virginia and proud father of Gabrielle Hebert Stelly and Alec Hebert. When he’s not serving patients, you’ll find him cooking, working in the yard, coaching youth sports, enjoying the outdoors, or playing Texas Hold ’em and dominos with friends and family.
