What a moment.

We had the incredible privilege of sharing the news of the Vincennes Teen Center's Find Your Light Foundation grant with some of the people who have made this program possible from the very beginning.

Watching the reactions of community partners reminded us why this work means so much. The Vincennes Teen Center exists because this community chose to show up for its teens, and this national recognition from Josh Groban's Foundation is proof that the rest of the country is taking notice.

As the behavioral health team staffing the Expressive Arts Therapy Program alongside the CFS, Corp. Prevention Team, Grasshopper Group is deeply grateful to be part of a community that understands the connection between the arts, mental health, and the well-being of our young people.

This award belongs to all of us. Thank you for letting us be part of something truly special.

Today we are absolutely gleaming with pride as Hannah Atwood has passed her clinical (LCSW) exam!

Hannah is the calm in the storm for so many people. She shows up for her clients with steadiness and a deep sense of care that can’t really be taught. It just comes from who she is. Her clients are incredibly lucky to have someone who pours into them the way she does.

She is also one of the hardest workers you will meet. Hannah brings an incredible work ethic and a genuine passion for this work. We are not only proud to have her on our team, we are grateful to learn alongside her.

Watching clinicians grow into the professionals they are meant to be is one of the great joys of this work, and it is a privilge to get to watch Hannah grow. We truly believe she is meant for great things in this field and in the lives of the clients she serves.

🧡 In February, we visited North Knox, South Knox, and Lincoln High School during lunch periods to chat with students about Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. This year's theme: Real Love Respects. If it's real, it's respectful. 🧡

We talked about what red flags really look like — and reminded students that even ONE red flag matters. You don't need to see multiple warning signs to trust your instincts. Red flags often start small — controlling behavior can begin as "caring too much."

And we talked about what RESPECT actually looks like:
🚩 Control tells you who you can see or talk to
🧡 Trust believes you without surveillance
🚩 Manipulation makes you feel guilty for having boundaries
🧡 Safety means you feel comfortable being yourself
🚩 Disrespect puts you down in front of others
🧡 Support cheers you on and lifts you up

Trust your feelings. If something feels wrong, it probably is. 🧡
