Carson took the oath of office as The Mayor For The Day, and Mayor Duvall provided him with a special welcome. Carson was then taken on a tour of the city.

Day 427: Carson’s first holiday home since being diagnosed. Happy Easter from Carson.

Day 421: Carson is so excited to be back at school and feeling better. We took a very quick trip to the zoo yesterday. He was still pretty weak and tired, so he only made it about an hour.

Day 419: Carson broke free just in time for Bree's Blessings egg hunt. He had so much fun. This boy received chemo at 11 and made it to the hunt by 2.

Day 417: Carson is still in so much pain. Please send positive vibes. I went back to work today and his Mammy sent me this pic. My heart is crying. I love that my job will hold my spot when I have to miss, but being in no pay, I have to go as much as I can. Doesn’t make it any easier to leave him. I slept in his bed last night and it took everything in me to go to work this morning. 😔

Day 416: for the first time surgery was early to get Carson. He’s already in the back and the ball is rolling. I will keep everyone updated on here!
8:15- surgery came upstairs for Carson
8:45- All consents are signed and they just rolled him back to start the procedure
9:30- Surgery officially started
10:05-G tube is placed. Zero complications. 🙌Waiting for oncologist to complete spinal
10:30- Spinal infusion is completed. Just waiting for him to wake up.
11:15 Carson woke up in recovery in pain. The nurse bedside gave him some iv pain meds and he went back to sleep. They are keeping him in recovery a little bit longer to make sure he’s comfortable before they bring him up to his room.
11:45 Carson arrived to his room, but still in quite a bit of pain.
1:00 Carson woke up still in pain. 😔
1:30 Nurse gave him some fentanyl in his port
5:00 Carson is still sleeping and in pain when he wakes. The nurses have started electrolytes through his G-tube.
7:05 Carson woke up ate 2 crackers and drank a few sips of juice
8:00 Carson is back asleep

Okay crew, Carson dropped his switch and it pulled the controller off. Is there any way to fix this? 😭
