Vinton First Aid Crew First Aid & EMS This account is not monitored 24/7. Always call 911 in an emergency.

The Vinton First Aid Crew has been protecting the greater Vinton, Virginia community since 1939. Our members are a combination of paid and volunteer personnel and we always welcome new members. We are available 24 hours a day to provide 911 emergency relief to our community. We are a non-profit organization that operates on the tax deductible donations from the community. These donations provide the funding for equipment, training, and medical supplies.

We wanted to thank our duty crew as well as C shift tonight for the response we have had to the winter storm.
Here are a few tips from our crew on staying safe!
-Make sure to bundle up if you go out and wear proper footwear for snow and ice
-Try to avoid going out in the weather
-As we all try to stay warm inside be safe with space heaters as they can be a fire hazard as well as they can cause carbon monoxide poisoning. Keep flammable items away from them and dont leave them unattended.
-Keep your furry friends inside they need to stay warm too.

So from our crew to the community stay safe in the winter storm! 🌨️

🍂 Fall Festival Fun🚑🎃

This weekend, your Vinton First Aid Crew was proud to provide medical standby for the annual Fall Festival right here in Vinton! Our crew members spent the day connecting with the community, offering hands-on demonstrations on wound packing and bleeding control, and standing by to ensure everyone had a safe and fun event.

Events like this remind us why we serve—community, connection, and care. ♥️

A big thank-you to In Vinton, all the organizers, vendors, and visitors who made the day a success. We’re already looking forward to next year! 🍁
